How do I access FINDER/FINDER PAWN?

Approved users can access FINDER via the following:

Is FINDER secure?

FINDER is LEXS-SR, CJIS and FIPS 140-2 Compliant. The architecture is designated to meet the technological directives established by the federal government for sharing law enforcement data. FINDER only works with law enforcement agencies.

Moreover, the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) server we use to upload the bulletins into FINDER is also FIPS 140-2 complaint and secured end to end. We use Bitvise for our SFTP server. Please find additional details HERE. All of this comports with securely transferring CJIS data.

FINDER also uses AWS GovCloud. This ensures a path to future expansion and compliance with Government mandates. Read more on AWS GovCloud HERE.

How many agencies are using FINDER?

There are over 450 agencies across the nation connected to FINDER.

How many users can my agency have on FINDER?

There are no “per user” charges and no limits on the number of users within an agency.

Is there a users guide for FINDER?

Yes, you can access the FINDER users guide from within the FINDER platform under the “SUPPORT” tab and then “ONLINE HELP”.

Pawn Shop’s may access the Pawn Shop user guide in the platform or online HERE.

What are the server requirements for my agency?

What is needed to implement FINDER as our data sharing system?

The agency will need a signed MOU with FINDER to get started.

How do I submit a product feature request?

At FINDER, we are always working to improve our platform for our customers. If you have an idea or product request, you may submit it using the button below, and our engineering team will review it. Please note due to development cycles and the wide base of customers, not all requests will be implemented, however, our team does read all requests.
